Northwoods is a product of four dedicated musicians wanting to make honest art. Austin Woods, the driving force behind Northwoods founded the band with his good friend and unbelievable drummer, Marcello Sanchez, in 2022. Austin has a unique, haunting style of songwriting. He captures scenes of love and loss, triumphs and tragedies woven into every honest lyric he writes. They recruited Brendan Comer on bass in mid-2022. The Denver music graduate brings his life long experience to the bottom end.

After playing a few shows they were joined by Luke William on guitar. Luke was the piece of the puzzle that had been missing to bring Northwoods’ unique blend of music genres together. With a combined 20+ years in the music industry Northwoods is ready to bring their brand of rock and roll to your festival, theater, club, or party.

Testimonials

  • We cannot say enough good things about Northwoods! We hired Northwoods for a private party. Since our initial contact the band was amazing to work with! They were extremely responsive and every interaction we had was professional and kind.

They arrived exactly when they said they would and set up without any issues. Then they started playing and WOW. We all absolutely loved them!! Not only are these four guys great people but they are outstanding musicians! Their sound is better than any video can capture and their personalities created a very fun atmosphere. They were open to requests and even allowed me to sing a special duet for the guest of honor. We just absolutely loved them, their music and the joy they brought to the night! They truly made it so special…and we are all fans for life!!

  • Northwoods Band was simply phenomenal at our wedding! They brought so much energy and joy to our big day, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing they were. Austin and the crew were awesome to work with - they shared their playlist ahead of time and even learned a few special songs just for us. That was such a sweet touch! We couldn’t have asked for a better band to make our wedding so unforgettable. These guys are incredibly talented, and we can't wait to see where they'll go next!

  • Northwoods recently performed at the Westerly Community, and the resident absolutely loved it! Their set list was fantastic, offering something for everyone to enjoy, from timeless classics t contemporary hits. The band’s stage presence was fun and light-hearted, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. They were also incredibly easy to work with-flexible, accommodating, and always helpful. The resdents were so impressed that they’ve already asked when Northwoods can return for another community concert. Highly recommend!
